At new years time families get together have dinner stay up until midnight... and make new years resolutions
My New Years resolution is to get better grades. Like to turn my Bs into As. My parents say the better grades the more privileges you will obtain. So far in science my grade was a B but now it has gone up to be a A. My others I don't know yet. My parents also say the more better grades the more trips to new places.

I think that you chose a very good goal and gave a reason why you want to do it. But the one thing that you should add is when you will obtain this goal. :)
